We were all so deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your father, Ron. What a lovely gentleman he was. We were all so fond of Roy. He was kindness itself and could not do enough for his neighbours. We didn't have a concern in the world after he so kindly offered to keep an eye on our cottage. What a wonderful job he did, even staying up all one night holding the boat firm at the dock in a big storm when we were not there. What a huge loss this is to all your family and to the rest of us who thought so highly of him. He was an example to all of us. Pat Green

Family Reunions and Christmas gatherings won't be the same without Dad sitting there beaming as his family gathered around him. Family meant everything to Dad.
Bud was always the one to reach out, to stay in touch, to offer help, or to share a good story and a laugh. Growing up, his grandchildren always had a lap to sit on or a treat to eat when they came to visit.
Thank you for instilling the importance of family in all of our lives. You will be missed.
love, Roy & Donna

I will always remember this very fine gentleman as "Mr. Henley" because that is what I always called him. He and his lovely wife "Mrs. Henley" were our wonderful neighbours on Birchview Road and we could not have asked for finer ones. He was a wonderful storyteller and I loved to hear him talk about his many adventures on the road over the years. He kept watch over our cottage when we weren't there, and more importantly, he kept watch over our cottage while we were there and was always quick to help out when something went wrong, as it almost always did! His friendship, his smile, and his kindess will never be forgotten and I extend my most sincere condolences to his family who, I know, will miss him very much.

You will be missed Grandpa. But we will take comfort in knowing that you are watching us, with Grandma by your side again, your guiding hands on our shoulders, inspiring us to be strong & content in our lives. We can only hope that we can raise your great-grandchildren to be half the man you made yourself to be.
Rest in peace.
Love, Melissa, Ben, Norah & Jake

Bud was a special loving uncle and no doubt he gifted each one of us in very personal ways as he did for me. He had such a big heart and gave his love so freely to everyone, but especially to his beloved Ruth and the wonderful family they made together. I think he accomplished everything in life that he set out to do and no one did it better than Uncle Bud!
In your grief and your sorrow, have hope for tomorrow. Take solace in your
memories of yesterday. In summary of our lives, the best we leave
behind are precious memories to cherish each and every day.
